The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) have signed a cooperation plan for the period 2027-2030, according to a report by Russian state news agency TASS.

The document outlines a series of joint projects to be carried out with the involvement of business councils from both associations, TASS reported.

According to the report, the plan calls for organizing events in several sectors, including the agro-industrial complex, food security, and customs regulation.

TASS did not provide further details on the specific projects, funding, or the officials who signed the agreement on behalf of the two organizations.

The EAEU is a regional economic union comprising several former Soviet states, while the SCO is a Eurasian political, economic and security organization whose membership includes Russia, China and other regional states.
