"NAZA," a documentary directed by Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor and produced by The Guardian, won the special jury prize at the 83rd Venice Film Festival, The Guardian reported.
The film, shot at night on the rooftops of Tel Aviv, presents what its directors describe as the systems behind what they characterize as Israel's calculated killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza; this characterization reflects the filmmakers' own account rather than an independently established fact. Accepting the prize, Abraham said, "It's really important Israelis watch this film. It's our country that is doing these crimes," according to the report.
