Décès de Catherine Ringer, voix des Rita Mitsouko
La chanteuse du duo culte français des Rita Mitsouko est morte d'un cancer à 68 ans, ont annoncé ses enfants à l'AFP.
Catherine Ringer, cofondatrice des Rita Mitsouko aux côtés de Fred Chichin, est décédée des suites d'un cancer, selon un communiqué de ses enfants relayé mardi par l'Agence France-Presse. Le duo, formé en 1982, figure parmi les groupes les plus importants du rock français avec des albums emblématiques comme « The No Comprendo » et « Garage d'amour ».
Fred Chichin, l'autre membre fondateur du groupe, était décédé en 2007. Les Rita Mitsouko avaient marqué plusieurs générations de mélomanes par leur style avant-gardiste et leurs clips musicaux novateurs.
