CSTO Voices Concern Over NATO Military Buildup Near Its Borders

The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) has expressed concern over what it described as the creation of NATO military infrastructure along its borders, the Russian state news agency TASS reported.
According to TASS, a CSTO representative identified as Masadykov said a sober analysis of the current situation shows that this state of affairs does not serve the interests of any country or international association pursuing constructive goals.
The CSTO is a Russia-led military alliance comprising several former Soviet states, including Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Russia. The bloc has periodically voiced objections to Western military activity near the territories of its member states.
