Burning Man Turns 40, Faces a Midlife Crisis

Burning Man, the arts festival held in the Nevada desert, turned 40 this year and is showing signs of a midlife crisis, The Guardian reported.

The report noted an increasing presence of wealthy attendees, including chartered flights to the site, alongside a documentary examining behind-the-scenes power struggles, and said the tens of thousands of annual participants appear to be aging without being replaced by a comparable number of younger "burners."
