According to the head of government, approximately €1.5 billion would be dedicated to combating gender-based and sexual violence. An additional €2.6 billion would be allocated to child protection, he indicated.
These announcements are part of preparations for a 'comprehensive law' against gender-based and sexual violence, which is scheduled to be examined by Parliament in fall 2026, the Prime Minister specified.
