Jeremy Thomas, the British film producer known for his work on The Last Emperor, Sexy Beast and High-Rise, has died at the age of 77, according to a representative cited by The Guardian.
The representative said Thomas died on Friday "peacefully, at his country home in Oxfordshire, surrounded by his family and loved ones," The Guardian reported.
Thomas was noted for his long-running collaborations with directors including Bernardo Bertolucci and David Cronenberg, according to the report.
His production of The Last Emperor, directed by Bertolucci, won multiple Academy Awards, the report said.
