Belfast inquest finds insufficient evidence in teenager's death, blames police failures
An inquest into 14-year-old Noah Donohoe's 2020 death determined there is not enough evidence to explain the circumstances, partly due to investigative mistakes by police.
Noah Donohoe, 14, disappeared on 21 June 2020 after leaving his south Belfast home on his bicycle. His naked body was discovered six days later inside an underground water tunnel in north Belfast.
The inquest concluded there is insufficient evidence to fully explain how Donohoe died, with the findings partly attributing the gaps to errors made by PSNI investigators during the initial investigation.
