Belarusian Troops Heading to Russia to Take Part in CSTO Drills

Belarusian troops are heading to Russia to take part in a series of drills held under the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), according to a report by TASS.
The exercises include the Interaction 2026 command and staff exercise, the Search 2026 special reconnaissance forces and assets exercise, and the Echelon 2026 logistics exercise, all of which will be conducted in Russia, TASS reported.
The CSTO is a security alliance of several post-Soviet states, including Russia and Belarus, that periodically conducts joint military exercises among member states.
TASS's report did not specify the exact dates of the exercises or the number of Belarusian troops involved.
