Bahia Hariri Meets Delegations in Sidon on Education, Social and Municipal Issues
Future Movement Vice President Bahia Hariri received religious and municipal delegations to discuss local needs, including war-related displacement in south Lebanon.
Future Movement Vice President and Hariri Foundation President Bahia Hariri received Monsignor Abdo Abu Kasm, head of the Catholic Information Center, at her residence in Hilaliyeh, Sidon, for talks on general developments as well as educational and social issues.
Hariri also met a delegation from the municipality of Jebbine in Tyre district, headed by Mayor Jaafar Aqil, in the presence of Future Movement coordinator in Sidon and the South, Mazen Hashisho. The delegation briefed her on conditions in Jebbine, including destruction caused by the Israeli occupation, the displacement of residents to Tyre and surrounding areas, and the resulting humanitarian, living and educational challenges.
Hariri later received a delegation from the municipality of Shawaliq in Jezzine district, headed by Mayor Nimer Farhat, for discussions on local service and community needs.
