B'Tselem Report Accuses Israel of Systematic Effort to Dismantle Palestinian Life in West Bank

The Israeli human rights organization B'Tselem said Monday that actions by Israeli authorities in the occupied West Bank form part of a broader effort designed to make it impossible for Palestinians to continue existing together as a people, according to a new report.

In the report, titled "The Elimination Project," B'Tselem alleged that Israeli policies in the West Bank combine five interconnected tactics: violence, ethnic cleansing, movement restrictions, economic strangulation, and social and political destruction.

The group argued that these measures, taken together, constitute a coordinated strategy rather than isolated incidents, though the report did not claim to represent an official Israeli policy statement.

France 24 correspondent Selina Sykes reported on the findings, noting that B'Tselem's assessment centers on the cumulative effect of restrictions on movement, economic pressures, and other measures on Palestinian communities in the territory.
