Australian Hyrox athlete apologises after soiling herself during Beijing race win

Australian athlete Joanna Wietrzyk has apologised for an incident during a Hyrox competition in Beijing where she soiled herself while racing. In an Instagram statement, Wietrzyk offered a "sincere apology" to "the people of China, my fellow competitors, the spectators and the Hyrox organizers for what happened during the race."

Wietrzyk won the Beijing event despite the incident. She has forfeited the points from her win and expressed regret over her decision to continue racing.
