أعلنت وكالة الفضاء الأميركية "ناسا" عن اكتشاف فوهة ضخمة حديثة التكوين على سطح القمر، بعد أن رصدها باحث تابع للوكالة، في ما وصفه علماء بأنه حدث نادر الحدوث.
وبحسب ما ذكرته وكالة "سكاي نيوز عربية"، فإن العلماء أشاروا إلى أن تشكل فوهة بهذا الحجم على سطح القمر ظاهرة قد لا تتكرر سوى مرة واحدة كل قرن أو أكثر، ما يجعل هذا الاكتشاف لافتاً من الناحية العلمية.
