Fighting Continues in Kahboub Mountains and Al-Aghabara Front on Taiz-Lahj Border

Yemeni sources reported on Friday that clashes are continuing between Yemeni government forces, supported by local fighters, and the Houthi group in the Kahboub Mountains and along the Al-Aghabara front, located on the border between the governorates of Taiz and Lahj, according to Sky News Arabia.

These fronts hold particular strategic importance due to their proximity to the Bab al-Mandab strait, the strategic maritime passage that has witnessed repeated tensions for years within the context of the broader Yemeni conflict.

The Yemeni sources did not specify the number of casualties or material losses resulting from the recent clashes, and no immediate official comment was issued by the command of the government forces or by the Houthi group regarding the course of the fighting in the two areas.
