Aoun Meets Justice Minister on Judiciary, Hosts Orthodox Delegation on Bekaa Affairs

President Joseph Aoun received Justice Minister Adel Nassar, who briefed him on the work of the judiciary at the start of the new judicial year and on progress achieved in the sector, including what officials described as higher productivity levels.
Separately, Aoun discussed conditions in the Bekaa region generally, and in the Zahle area specifically, with Greek Orthodox Metropolitan of Zahle, Baalbek and Dependencies Bishop Antonios Al-Souri. The delegation accompanying the metropolitan included several bishops and the mayors of Rayak, Deir el-Ghazal and Qousaya, in the presence of former MP Marwan Abou Fadel, Secretary-General of the Orthodox Gathering.
