Anthropic Says AI Model Claude Now Drives 26% of Its Research Work

Anthropic, the artificial intelligence company behind the Claude chatbot, has said that its AI model now accounts for 26% of the research and development work conducted within the company, according to a report by the Washington Post cited by Turkey's Anadolu Agency.
The company said this figure represents a significant increase and offers what it called a measure of progress toward developing AI systems capable of improving themselves, the report said.
According to the report, Anthropic did not provide additional details on the specific methodology used to calculate the 26% figure or the timeframe over which the increase occurred.
