The club was also fined $26,660 as part of the disciplinary action, the report said.
Diogo Jota, a Liverpool and Portugal forward, died earlier this year. The chants directed at his memory by Al Taawoun supporters prompted the Saudi Pro League to take disciplinary measures against the club.
The Saudi Pro League has not disclosed further details regarding the specific fixtures or dates on which Al Taawoun's home matches will be played without spectators as a result of the sanction.
