Around 17,000 citizens participated in the third online open court held by Lahore Police on Sunday, according to the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP).
During the session, DIG Operations Faisal Kamran directly responded to questions and complaints raised by participants, APP reported.
Kamran said Lahore Police would adopt comprehensive security measures to ensure the safety of citizens during the upcoming Basant festival, according to the report.
He added that protection of life and property at major public events was a fundamental responsibility of the police, APP said.
