The Lammermuir festival in Scotland is preparing to host an unconventional concert with 100 tuba players performing in a vast walled garden outside Edinburgh. Festival artistic director James Harris selected composer Anthony Braxton's colossal composition as a solution to fill the new venue with sound.
The project draws on the festival's history of experimental contemporary music productions, according to festival organizers working with the Red Note Ensemble.
